Ridgewood NJ, a two-alarm fire broke out at a single-family home in the 300 block of Beveridge Road, Ridgewood, on Tuesday, September 10th, just before 8:45 AM. The blaze left the home uninhabitable, though fortunately, no severe injuries were reported.
Ridgewood Fire Department quickly responded to the scene, with additional support from firefighters in Glen Rock, Ho-Ho-Kus, and Midland Park. One resident suffered minor smoke inhalation but declined transportation to the hospital.
Along with the fire department, Ridgewood Police, Office of Emergency Management (OEM), and Ridgewood Emergency Services also assisted in the response efforts.
The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation, and authorities are working to determine how the blaze started. Local officials are urging residents to stay cautious and check their smoke detectors and fire safety measures.
