Join OQO Gallery for the Opening Reception on Saturday, October 4th, from 4–6 PM. The highlight of the evening will be a Special Presentation at 4:45 PM where Varvara Agabekova will share her remarkable journey.
She will discuss her elite training at the prestigious Saint Petersburg Academy of Fine Arts—recognized globally as one of the world’s top art schools—her influential mentors, and her evolution as an artist. Agabekova will share photographs of her diverse body of work and participate in a short Q&A session. This is a rare chance to gain insight into the mind of an internationally exhibited painter right here in Bergen County.
About the Artist
Born into a family of artists in Saint Petersburg, Agabekova graduated with the highest honors from the esteemed Academy of Fine Arts. Since moving to the U.S. in 2014, she has continued to build an impressive international career, with exhibitions in major cities including New York, Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, San Diego, and Italy.
