Ridgewood NJ, The “It’s All Good” era in North Jersey isn’t ending quite yet. After an emotional announcement that Tito’s Burritos and Wings would shutter all remaining locations on March 1, the community responded with a surge of support so massive it quite literally changed the schedule. Due to overwhelming demand, long lines, and an outpouring of local love, the chain has officially extended its final week of service.

The New Final Date: Sunday, March 8, 2026

If you thought you missed your chance to grab one last Bird is the Word burrito or a final order of their famous wings, you’re in luck. Tito’s will remain open for one additional week, with the final doors closing for good on Sunday, March 8.

A Heartfelt Message from the Tito’s Team

In a statement released on February 25, the team behind the 21-year-old local institution expressed deep gratitude for the “familiar faces” and shared memories that have flooded their storefronts in Ridgewood, Summit, and South Orange.

“Since announcing that Tito’s would be closing… we have been overwhelmed by the incredible outpouring of support. Because of the overwhelming demand and the many people who have asked for one more chance to stop by, we are happy to announce that we will remain open for one additional week.”

Why New Jersey is Mourning This Closure

Tito’s has been more than just a quick-service Mexican spot; for over two decades, it has served as a community hub. From celebrating game days with “The Flock” of wings to fueling Seton Hall students in South Orange, the brand became a staple of North Jersey’s dining culture.

Where to visit for your final meal:

  • Ridgewood: 166 East Ridgewood Avenue

  • Summit: 356 Springfield Avenue

  • South Orange: 6 West South Orange Avenue

Don’t Miss Out: What to Order Before It’s Gone

Expect busy dining rooms and potentially longer wait times this week as fans scramble to enjoy their favorites. If you’re heading in, don’t forget the classics:

  • The “Fat Amy” Taco: The legendary four-pound challenge.

  • The Spicoli Burrito: A smoky shredded chicken favorite.

  • Free Chips & Salsa: The signature perk that set Tito’s apart from the competition.

Final Call: March 8

Make sure to stop by before Sunday evening on March 8 to say goodbye to the crew and celebrate the end of a 21-year journey. As the team says, it’s been an honor serving you—let’s make this final week “All Good.”
