Upper Saddle River NJ, A major police presence responded to a quiet neighborhood in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey, on Friday afternoon following reports of gunfire directed at a residence.

Around noon on Friday, August 7, local officers were dispatched to a home on Hidden Glen Road after receiving reports of potential gunshots. Upon arrival, law enforcement personnel suspected that shots had indeed been fired directly into the occupied residence, according to Chief of Detectives Jeff Angermeyer of the Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.

Due to the nature of the call, the Bergen County Regional SWAT Team was deployed to the scene to secure the area and assist responding officers.

No Injuries Reported in Isolated Incident

Despite shots penetrating an occupied home, authorities confirmed that no injuries were reported and no residents were struck by gunfire.

Multiple law enforcement agencies quickly joined the effort. The Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office Special Investigations Squad launched a joint investigation alongside the Upper Saddle River Police Department, with additional support provided by the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials emphasize that the incident appears to be isolated, reassuring residents that there is currently no known ongoing threat to the surrounding community.
