Celebrate America’s 250th and Broadway Classics: Ars Musica Chorale Unveils 61st Season Schedule

Ridgewood NJ, One of Bergen County’s premier vocal ensembles is tuning up for another landmark year. Ars Musica Chorale has officially announced its 61st season, launching with a open community Summer Sing on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at 7:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood.
The season kickoff centers around Beethoven’s iconic Mass in C, featuring majestic choruses, lyrical solos, and exhilarating vocal passages. Sheet music is provided on-site, and a suggested donation of $10 is requested at the door.
2026–2027 Concert Schedule in Ridgewood, NJ
Ars Musica Chorale will present four major concert performances throughout the upcoming season, all hosted in Ridgewood, New Jersey:

America at 250 — Saturday, November 7, 2026 (7:30 p.m. at West Side Presbyterian Church)
Celebrating the nation’s semiquincentennial with works by American composers, performed in collaboration with the North Jersey Concert Band.

An Ars Musica Holiday — Saturday, December 12, 2026 (7:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church)
Featuring Benjamin Britten’s A Ceremony of Carols alongside the New Jersey Children’s Choir.

Brahms: Ein Deutsches Requiem — Saturday, April 3, 2027 (7:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church)
A masterwork performance presented together with the Adelphi Orchestra and the New Jersey Youth Chorus.

Golden Age of Broadway — Saturday, May 15, 2027 (7:30 p.m. at Bethlehem Lutheran Church)
A joyful season finale showcasing Broadway favorites performed by the full chorale and featured soloists.
Audition & Membership Information
Founded in December 1966, Ars Musica Chorale welcomes new singers to join its roster for the 61st season.

Audition Dates: Open auditions take place during the Summer Sing on August 25 and at the first official rehearsal on Tuesday, September 8, 2026.

Rehearsal Schedule: Weekly rehearsals run on Tuesday evenings from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at the Unitarian Society of Ridgewood (113 Cottage Pl, Ridgewood, NJ).
