Participants will walk through the grounds while expert guides detail the Revolutionary War history that took place directly on site, alongside the distinct architectural styles of early Bergen County homes.
Tour the Historic Zabriskie-Steuben House
The guided tour concludes at the renowned Zabriskie-Steuben House, where guests can explore the interior of this remarkable structure. Notably, it stands as the only surviving house along George Washington’s critical 1776 Retreat route through Bergen County.
Following the walkthrough, guests are invited to enjoy light refreshments served on the porch.
