Valley Rendering by Z. Putnins and C. Benson

Renewal 2 is The same as renewal 1. The hospital has clearly not listened to the council and the residents. They still want a 94 ft tall building which will overshadow the whole neighborhood. They didn’t decrease the size of the north building by 1 foot. They also did not decrease the number of beds by even 1. Anyone who believes an increase of approximately 90% over the current size is a compromise has been drinking the Valley kool-aid.

  1. Kool-aid taste good.

  2. Eight – ten years of phased construction. Ninty foot high buildings. 5 level parking garages. Too much.

  3. I say build build and tax them. it’s job’s in the town.

  4. Their contractor is not from Ridgewood. I wold seriously doubt that the labor will be from Ridgewood. They pay no taxes or Pilot on that property.

  5. Why does the town have to entertain the same if not bigger proposal that was denied last year? This is a waste of time and money…

  6. The mayor basically said that. He was surprised that renewal 2 essentially is renewal 1 with a fifth level in the garage.. Valley c,early epwants what they want without Reagan’s to the fact that they are Inthemiddle os a residential neighborhood.

  7. After hearing the presentations, I cannot believe any “objective” member of either the PB, or the Council, would consider voting for a change to the Master Plan.

I guess we will all see who really cares about keeping Ridgewood a better than average place to live, in both the short and long term.
