Reader says We all know what Mrs. Hauck thinks its what the Planning Board thinks that counts
It’s certainly unfortunate for those that oppose the expansion that she is in the position she is in, but that is really “water over the dam.” At least at this point the bigger issue seems to be what the PB members think rather than what everyone else in Ridgewood already knows what Mrs. Hauck thinks.
I’m not saying she should not recuse herself, that would certainly be the ethical thing to do, but the focus should really be on making the case that this expansion is not in the best interests of the majority of residents, primarily because it is not.
The bottom line is that the request is far to large for the property it is on. My bet is that the folks on the PB see that and act on it before Mrs. Hauck can have anything to say about it.
Really! Have you been at these meetings? One the PB seems to be again operating from the position of how can we give VAlley what it wants and secondly this is never going to be over by the enf of June so that means the PB needs to reorganize and so anything could happen. So this may come back to the council.
I think what the blogger is saying is that the focus should be on convincing whoever is on the board that this is really a terrible idea for all of Ridgewood because it is too darn big for the land they want to put it on. The Hauck thing is turning into more of a distraction.
When there are multiple enemies, swing at all of them.
I hope that the original poster is right, but given the pro-Valley slant of Mrs. Price and the Planning Board, it’s a pretty safe bet that this Council will vote on some version of a hospital expansion. Given that, I think that the voters need to keep the pressure on to get Mrs. Hauck to recuse.
yawn…again
Hauck’s dad should take out a full page ad in the Ridgewood News telling her to recuse herself. She may respond to that.
#5 Hahahahahaha!
You morons against Valley are gonna be crying the blues when this proposal finally gets approved by the courts.
Well it would have to be approved by the courts because most of the town certainly does not want it.
