“Here I come to save the day!” Jimmy Carter offers to visit Venezuela
Didn’t this Idiot do enough Damage Already ?
Humberto Fontova | Mar 01, 2014
Last week Jimmy Carter fired off letters to Venezuela’s fraudulent President Nicolas Maduro and to Venezuela’s defrauded Presidential candidate Enrique Capriles expressing “grave concern” regarding the political turmoil and bloodshed convulsing their nation. From his pulpit at Emory University’s Carter Center, the former U.S. president calls for “dialogue” among the embattled Venezuelan parties and offers to visit the troubled nation–but not as a formal “mediator.”
The news of Carter’s proposed Venezuela visit was only hours old when alarmed Venezuelan anti-socialists sent out an SOS: “Please, desist from your trip,” reads an open letter from Venezuelan blogger/journalist Daniel Duquenal. “You have absolutely no credibility in Venezuela…You have cursed us enough as it is. I can assure you that half of the country has no respect nor credibility for you and the other half (the Castroites) thinks you are a mere fool that they can use and discard as needed.”
How dare some ignorant blogger refer to the former President of the United States as an idiot. If he were a writer of value his words would be associated with a legitimate news/opinion website.
When you consider the source of the “idiot” comment it really means nothing. One small man/woman’s opinion, nothing more.
I hope this idiot goes.. and stays there.
The days of it being “wrong” to call a current or ex President an idiot went out of the window many years ago. In the age of anonymous internet comments, like yours, nothing is off limits.
As for Carter, I don’t believe he is/was an idiot, but he sure was a terrible President.
Carter made Sadat and Began sit down, shake hands and agree on the Sinai peninsula when #2 was still popping zits on his bathroom mirror. He was encouraging energy independence long before it was really needed.
His economic policies were weak and he seemed a bit naive at times, but he is a great American and a better human being.
Have some fucking respect for your betters, you dimwitted Randriod, Jamsie.
Jimmy Carter did not earn any respect so he’s not going to get any.
He gave away our strategic asset, the Panama Canal.
He was WEAK which resulted in the IRAN hostage crisis, among other things.
The office deserves respect, not necessarily the ‘occupant’.
Jimmy Carter is the happiest guy in the world.
He will no longer be known as the worst US President.
He has now moved to #2 worst, and people usually forget who came in second.
Agreed. Well put. And unfortunately sad for the USA.
After certifying to fraudulent elections for the socialist dictator , I would be surprised if the people of Venezuela don’t hang him from a telephone pole and play pinata with him
