Hillary: ‘Don’t Let Anybody Tell You’ That ‘Businesses Create Jobs’

Appearing at a Boston rally for Democrat gubernatorial candidate Martha Coakley on Friday, Hillary Clinton told the crowd gathered at the Park Plaza Hotel not to listen to anybody who says that “businesses create jobs.”

“Don’t let anybody tell you it’s corporations and businesses create jobs,” Clinton said.

“You know that old theory, ‘trickle-down economics,’” she continued. “That has been tried, that has failed. It has failed rather spectacularly.”

“You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’” Clinton said, which elicited loud laughs from the crowd.

  1. “You know, one of the things my husband says when people say ‘Well, what did you bring to Washington,’ he said, ‘Well, I brought arithmetic,’”

    AND HIS PENIS

  2. AND HIS EGO.
    STILL BETTER THAN OBAMA

  3. Her statement was obviously intended for the Warren-flavor of Dems that she needs. She is clearly the next President unless she drops a major blunder. Her political needle is definitely somewhere to the right of Obama’s, and what with the likelihood of a Republican control House and Senate, I think we will see a resumption of normalcy in DC.

  4. Hilary is a piece of garbage.
She took a 4 year personal vacation as Secretary of State traveling over 1 million miles on a 747 with her staff on our dime.
    She accomplished nothing.
Let’s see who rises to the top of the Republican ticket before we anoint her Queen.

  5. #4 How dare you get in the way of the coronation. LOL

  6. Unfortunately, she is a certainty. She has the backing of the media, will get a significant slice of swing-voter women who want to make history, and knows that no matter how much she upsets the far left for not being far left enough, they will vote for her anyway. I don’t even think anyone serious on the Right will want to go up against her knowing that’s it’s futile.

  7. Hilary is right if you count welfare as a job
