AAA Mid-Atlantic: N.J. gas prices rise sharply

TRENTON — Motorists are still seeing sharply higher prices at the pumps in New Jersey.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in New Jersey on Friday was $3.60, up 18 cents from last week. That’s also much higher than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.45.
Meanwhile, the national average price also rose by 12 cents to $3.67. That’s also much higher than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.44.
