Ridgewood NJ, on June 7 , acting Bergen County Prosecutor Calo joined the Ridgewood High School Gay-Straight Alliance and Principal Dr. Thomas Gordon at their second annual pride flag raising. The event kicked off LGBT Pride Month and was part of a national campaign to raise awareness about the effects of anti-LGBT bias, bullying, and harassment.
Virtue signaling is no way to go through life, Principal Gorman. If you keep this up, pretty soon you’ll be sporting press-on fake eyebrows like Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau. Give up the condesending practice now while you still have a reputation to preserve…

I have nothing against the flag they have all the right, I feel live and let live,this is all about politics.The flag is all about peace anyway not about hatred.
Don’t get the vitriol. The principal should be supporting this movement. These kids will do something great in their lifetimes. Standing for something and advocating a position is a part of learning that many of us have never actually experienced.
This is not about tolerance. It is about acceptance, and then: participation. Eventually, those who refrain from participation will be alienated and ostracized.
The flag is all about politics and power.

If this is the Gay-Straight Alliance, then why are we raising the “gay” flag, but we are not raising the “straight” flag?

There’s already a flag that includes everyone. That’s the lesson today’s youth need to learn.
our flag dosen’t include everyone equally. For many minorities, it has been a fight including women who had to fight for the right to vote, We are now the majority and still have to deal with inequalities. The straight alliance is showing support and inclusiveness. We don’t lose anything by doing that.
No flag is above the American flag.
This is plain stupid to compare ANY other flag to the American flag.
The cause is noble. Using a flag to promote the cause is stupid.
This is NOT about inclusiveness and acceptance.

The more rainbow flags I see the more I get turned off to their cause and lose respect. Live as you like and don’t try to push “values” that do not exist via flags. The American flag includes every US resident except those who don’t feel american.
It’s still legal for companies in 28 states to fire employees for being gay or transgender so no 10:04 the flag does not include every resident.
Militant gay bullies… see it is OK to bully people if you ARE gay…
