  1. I don’t understand Bergen County police. I rarely hear about burglary suspects being caught but instead I hear police telling people to lock their doors and their cars. It feels like we live in large mental asylum and we’re all patients who need to be educated on how to lock a door or a window otherwise something really bad is about to happen. Thieves are almost excused because they’re being tempted to steal. Duh.

  2. 3:56 – good points….imagine if we had video cameras at every busy intersection, it would make the police’s job so much easier.

    Wait a minute…we have those cameras already…

  3. The sad part is that there are A LOT of “smart” well educated people who PURPOSELY DO NOT lock their cars or homes and leave valuables easily accessed by criminals.

  4. I like the fact that some people don’t lock their cars and homes. Criminals will always operate and this means that I am a lot safer as a result. It’s just like being with another guy in the African bush when you realize that a lion is starting to run towards you. You both start running away. The other guy says, “Are you scared. You know that lion can run faster than us?”. I reply, “I know that and I’m not scared. I just have to run faster than you.”

  5. Despite doing everything to make your home look occupied, upon returning from a trip, your driveway is lettered with unwanted ads tossed there by northjersey papers. If your home gets burglarized or vandalized, sue northjersey who tossed that litter there.
