New York NY, disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is attempting a political resurrection, launching a campaign for New York City mayor despite a past riddled with scandals, corruption, and disastrous leadership decisions.

Cuomo Jumps into Crowded Mayoral Race

Cuomo officially announced his candidacy yesterday, entering a crowded Democratic primary where incumbent Eric Adams is bogged down by legal troubles. Early polls show Cuomo leading the race with 38%, a 26-point lead over the second-place candidate, while Adams trails in third place at just 10%.

But does New York really want Cuomo back in power?

A Legacy of Scandals and Cover-Ups

Let’s not forget why Cuomo resigned in disgrace in 2021:

🔴 Sexual Misconduct Allegations – A Justice Department probe confirmed Cuomo harassed 13 women over an eight-year span. Though he denies wrongdoing, the evidence led to his downfall.

🔴 COVID-19 Nursing Home Disaster – Cuomo’s “must-admit” order forced nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients, leading to thousands of preventable deaths. Instead of taking responsibility, his administration covered up the true number of fatalities to avoid scrutiny.

🔴 Soft-on-Crime Policies – In 2017, Cuomo issued a cease-and-desist order against ICE, making it harder to deport illegal immigrants with criminal records. He also pushed disastrous bail reform laws that allowed repeat offenders to walk free.

Are New Yorkers Suffering from Political Amnesia?

Cuomo is betting that voters are so frustrated with crime, corruption, and economic decline that they’ll overlook his disastrous tenure. His strategy? Blame Adams, blame crime, and hope people forget his failures.

But the reality is clear:

NYC’s problems exploded under progressive leadership
High taxes and overregulation are pushing businesses and families out
Lax crime policies are making the city unsafe

New Yorkers deserve competent leadership, not a career politician with a proven record of failure and deception. As cities like Chicago, Los Angeles, and San Francisco crumble under progressive mismanagement, the stakes couldn’t be higher for NYC.

The Democratic primary is June 24, with the general election on November 4. Here’s hoping voters don’t make the same mistake twice.

  1. They deserve him. My only regret is he’s not running for mayor of Ridgewood.

  5. He just won’t go away…

  6. Over 8 million voters about 100,000 vote! Under democratic leadership NYC will never come back!

    1. That’s fine. Let the lower half return to the swamp it’s sitting on and give the rest of the land back to the Lenape. Deport all the dems and liberals back to France.
