Ars Musica Chorale presents Hariu l’Adonai: Mendelssohn and More

Ridgewood NJ,  Ars Musica Chorale continues its 54 th season with Hariu l’Adonai: Mendelssohn and More, a concert of music influenced by Jewish tradition, under the baton of Music Director, Brian
Mummert, with David Perper as Cantor. The performance will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 15, 2020, at West Side Presbyterian Church, Ridgewood, New Jersey.

Hariu l’Adonai celebrates the long Jewish tradition of choral singing. Ars Musica is proud to present the soulful melodies and stunning choral music of composers including Felix Mendelssohn, Salamone Rossi,Kurt Weill, and Max Janowski, who have fought centuries of prejudice to make their voices heard. Cantor David Perper has served as Cantor and Music Director at Beth Haverim Shir Shalom in Mahwah,
New Jersey, for 13 years. Mr. Perper, a lyric tenor, has performed sacred music and oratorio, in regional opera houses in the United States, to the Philharmonic Hall in Krakow, Poland. He is currently preparing a recording of Dr. Michael Isaacson’s High Holy Day music. Additionally, Encore Young Artists Heather Jones, mezzo-soprano, and Laura Kosar, soprano, will perform during the concert.

Advance tickets are $30.00 for adults and $25.00 for seniors and those with special needs. (Add $5.00 if purchased at the door.) Children under 18 are free. For reservations or more information, visit
