Update (December 2019): We currently are accepting applications for Spring and Summer 2020 internships. Applications will be accepted through March 31, 2020. If you are interested in an internship in either our Cresskill or Wanaque legislative offices, please contact us by email.
Our internship program is designed to give students substantial exposure to the New Jersey Legislature and the legislative process. You may be asked to accompany the Assemblyman to sessions and committee meetings in Trenton as well as other meetings and events.
Our interns experience the internal workings of a district office, and may assist with many functions of the office including legislative research, constituent casework, media planning and other interesting tasks.
All internships are unpaid positions. Course credit for internships is often available at many colleges and universities. Check with your student advisor or school administration to find out.
