“This summer, our casinos are feeling a renewed sense of energy and excitement return to Atlantic City,” said Joe Lupo, President of the Casino Association of New Jersey. “There is something for everyone here in Atlantic City, and we can’t wait to welcome new and returning guests to enjoy our world-class entertainment options and experience first-hand all that our beachfront destination has to offer this Fourth of July Weekend.”
Atlantic City is a top destination for tourists this summer. According to national travel site TrendingTravel.org, Atlantic City’s boardwalk is ranked among the top 15 boardwalks in the nation. Atlantic City is also home to the 113th NAACP National Convention this July, and the Atlantic City Airshow, “A Salute to Those Who Serve”, will return to Atlantic City on Wednesday, August 24.
Additionally, there are new restaurants, world-class entertainment, experiences and events for visitors to enjoy throughout the season. Conde Nast Traveler recently highlighted what’s new and exciting in Atlantic City: “Atlantic City is bringing the pre-pandemic energy with a string of flashy openings this spring and summer…Inside the largest arcade on the East Coast, Raceway at Lucky Snake at Showboat Resort, a 40,000-square foot go-kart track, also opened in May. The all-ages attraction is proof there’s more to Atlantic City than gambling—as is the seven-week run of Beyond Van Gogh, the immersive show that has toured around the world, inviting visitors to walk through the Dutch artist’s masterpieces.”
“From the Boardwalk, to our amazing beaches, from top-notch entertainment options to our incredible casinos, Atlantic City has so much to offer visitors,” said Michael Chait, President, Greater Atlantic City Chamber. “The Fourth of July Weekend is always action-packed in Atlantic City, and this holiday weekend will be no exception. We are optimistic that this summer will bring a much-needed boost to the local and regional economy.”
