Englewood Fire Department spent the day supporting Englewood’s Juneteenth Celebration by participating in the flag raising, parade and carnival.
Englewood Fire Fighters on duty were requested to assist with an animal rescue. Little did our firefighters know it was to help the NJ DEP get a trapped bear out of a tree. We are happy to report the bear is unharmed and being relocated out of the area. You never know what the next call will bring!

Transport the bear to Phil Murphy’s doorstep. These bear occurrences are more frequent and happening over a wider swath of NJ due to Murphy’s ban on the annual bear shoot. If any of my family gets hurt in a bear attack Murphy is going to hear from my attorney and sue his ass off.
Maybe we should reconsider all the construction taking their habitats instead….. n
