Teaneck NJ, Bergen County officially broke ground on a brand-new, $5.97 million clubhouse at Overpeck Golf Course that will include a pro shop, food amenities, office space, restrooms, and a spacious outdoor deck — all designed to give golfers a premium experience at a public course price. Plus: we’re building a new electric cart garage with charging stations for up to 60 carts!
With over 343,000 rounds played last year, Bergen County golf is growing — and we’re proud to invest in the future. Construction is expected to be complete by spring 2026.

This money and effort would be better spent fixing our county roads. EVERY road with depressed manhole covers (e.g., Franklin Tpke), overfilled potholes (e.g., Campgaw Rd.), and badly timed traffic signals (most all intersections, but Hollywood Ave./Sheridan Ave is a particularly frustrating example) are COUNTY roads and they suck! Fat Ass Jim Tedesco never failed to get his ugly mug in every photo op., yet fails us day in and day out, by building legacy projects (like this!). His administration of the county blows.
