Oradell NJ, due to popular demand, Bergen county’s Pharma Mama, Dr. Suzanne Soliman, launches a monthly Instagram live show about trending pharmaceutical topics for everyday living and an opportunity for people to ask questions that will premiere Wednesday, February 1, 2023, at 9:30 a.m. and, after that, the first Wednesday of each month.
Pharma Mama will be sharing her straightforward, down-to-earth, no-nonsense everyday pharmaceutical advice. As a pharmacist, The Pharma Mama a.k.a Dr. Soliman is uniquely positioned to prevent medication errors and drug interactions minimizing side effects and adverse medication events. She is informational, friendly, and everyone’s favorite social media pharmacist!

Dr. Soliman is the Chief Health Officer for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA) in Oradell. She is a medical expert and journal reviewer for Annals of Pharmacotherapy and Currents in Pharmacy Teaching and Learning. She’s been featured in: New York Times, ABC7NY, Parade, Single Care, Daily Voice, “New York Magazine,” “Crain’s Chicago Business,” “Time Out Chicago” and more. Her areas of interest are parenting, women’s health, vitamins and supplements, and the pharmaceutical industry.
Dr. Soliman resides in Bergen County; she loves spending time with her husband and children, cooking, baking, and eating!! She recently started yoga and has made it a part of her everyday life. For years, Dr. Soliman struggled with work/life balance, ultimately finding that balance is something she works on each day. Dr. Suzanne Soliman earned her PharmD from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy (UIC-COP). She completed a residency in primary care with an emphasis on education at Midwestern University Chicago College of Pharmacy and a teaching fellowship at UIC College of Medicine. She is a board-certified medical affairs specialist (BCMAS). Before becoming an Assistant Dean of Academic Affairs at UIC-COP, Suzy worked as a clinical pharmacist, a medical science liaison (MSL), and a national field team educator. She most recently was an Associate Dean at Touro College of Pharmacy New York and an independent pharmacy owner. She is the Chief Health Officer for the Accreditation Council for Medical Affairs (ACMA). Suzy has over 100 publications and presents nationally on pharmacy, parenting, and women’s issues. She is a Rufus A. Lyman award recipient who was granted the best manuscript published in the American Journal of Pharmacy Education in 2019; she was a recipient of the Next Generation Pharmacist Civic Leader Award, and in 2021, she was awarded Industry Pharmacist of the Year. She is the author of the book The Pharmacist’s Guide to Work-Life Balance, which APhA published.
