Black lawmakers lament flaring of racial tensions under Obama

When President Obama follows in Martin Luther King Jr.’s footsteps on Wednesday with an address at the Lincoln Memorial, he will face a nation where race remains the great divide.
Black lawmakers say the election of the nation’s first African-America president has not been a salve for racial tensions, a view that the public has also voiced in recent polling.
While Democratic lawmakers place the lion’s share of the blame on Republicans for the state of affairs, they betray disappointment that more progress has not been made since the civil rights movement won its biggest victories.
The election of President was not meant to be a “salve for racial tensions”. The President had a goals for his term in office.
Someone makes up this bogus goal and then says that Democrats have failed to achieve it. The issues of race in this country have to do with racism that in the core of many people. People act based on their beliefs even when their beliefs are tainted with racism.
Obama has brought us much closer to socialism than ever before. Since he has no ideas, he just appeals to his ‘base’ of support by creating controversy using the ‘race card’. He tried that crap when his big mouth friend got arrested in Boston and again with that thug Trayvon.
When does he use the race card?
“Black lawmakers say the election of the nation’s first African-America president …”
This is a pretty racist and offensive statement.
Can you imagine the outrage if Obama (having his same parents) visually passed as a Caucasian and was referred to as a white man?
I’m still waiting for the first African American president.
(first we were told it was Bill Clinton and now Obama… at least we are getting closer)
