FAIR LAWN, NJ — The Fair Lawn Water Department (PWSID: NJ0217001) has issued an immediate, system-wide Boil Water Advisory following a significant water main break at 542 Wagaraw Road in Fair Lawn Borough.
The main break has caused loss of water pressure and service disruptions across the service area. Due to potential impacts on water quality, residents and businesses are advised to boil tap water before consumption as a precautionary measure until testing confirms the water supply is safe.
Essential Guidelines: What You Should Do
Effective immediately and until further notice, all customers in the Fair Lawn Water Department service area must bring tap water to a rolling boil for at least one minute and allow it to cool before use. Alternatively, bottled water should be used.
