Ridgewood NJ, Ridgewood Police, Ridgewood Fire Department, and Ridgewood EMS personnel responded to a single vehicle, Sunday afternoon, 02/28, crash at the underpass complex of NJ Transit’s Bergen/Main Line railroad. Both occupants of the crashed vehicle refused ambulance transportation to a local hospital. A flatbed tow truck removed the wreckage. Ridgewood Fire Department, personnel attended to a crash related fluid spill, and also secured loose wiring associated with a damaged street lamp. From the photos its does appear the car may have been going the wrong way. No word on what caused the crash, nor whether any summonses were issued in connection with the mishap.
I avoid the entire CBD.
That is a dangerous pedestrian crossing on top of that Hill from train lot side to /From the Apartment side.
The Realtor was run over and killed
On the top of that hill jay walking by a turning car from underpass side
Drove past the parking garage and there were 222 spaces available.
The “We desperately need parking spaces” garage lie lives on!
Perhaps a ticket should be issued for driving in the ‘bike lane’
The biggest obvious mistake in the village was the bike lane to no where. It narrowed the lanes, makes turns scary for pedestrians and drivers alike, the center divider was widened which makes it dangerous obstruction , cost us a ton of money and no bikers use it.
