Ridgewood, NJ – June 10, 2025  – Two of Ridgewood High School’s Applied Engineering Invention teams, Team Vita Flow and Team Shock Sleeve, placed Second and Fourth place respectively at the 2025 NJSBA STEAM Tank Final on Friday, May 23, bringing home a combined prize of $2000 for the high school. This competition wrapped up the most productive year of RHS invention.

Ridgewood NJ, Benjamin Franklin Middle School 5th grader Nathan Yu has made his hometown proud by finishing 5th in the nation at the U.S. Geography Championships in Orlando, Florida. The young geography whiz also advanced to the semifinals of the U.S. Geography Bee and reached the quarterfinals of the National Geography Bee, cementing his place among the top geography students in the country.

Three National Runners-Up, One Bronze: Ridgewood Top High School Sculling Team at 2025 SRAA Rowing Championship

Pennsauken NJ, Ridgewood Crew showed why it is among the country’s elite youth rowing programs this past weekend at the 2025 Scholastic Rowing Association of America national championships.

In a regatta that featured the best qualifying boats from high schools across the country, Ridgewood raced its way to one bronze and three silver medals, which ranked first for total podium finishes in sculling events out of the 148 schools competing. Its four overall medals were also second-most among all teams at SRAA, which featured 470 entries and more than 1,000 competitors.
