The Democrat Embrace Of Fascism
13.11.2012
By Jamie Wendland

Like most Americans, when I was a kid, I was under the impression that all repressive regimes were just like Nazi Germany as portrayed in old movies. All dissenters were either immediately imprisoned or publically shot in the back of the head, no secret is made of it, and everybody knew and lived in constant fear for their own lives. But, that really isn’t the case with fascist or repressive societies. It’s actually a subtle process that is done with popular public support and under the guise of complete legality, justification, democracy and to the greater good of the society.

It is, in other words, the road to fascism present day America is taking and it’s only being accelerated by a delusional love affair with President, Barack Obama.

While Democrats and Obama Loyalists ride their rainbows and unicorns in celebration of the re-election of the messiah, we on the left, are shaking our heads, wondering how Democrats could support four more years of failed Bush policy. On nearly every issue, there was no discernable difference between Obama or Romney, particularly on foreign policy and civil liberties, where the only significant difference boiled down to who would attack Iran first and whether or not the US military still uses bayonets.

Democrats therefore, are left grasping for straws for any liberal distinction, drawing attention to Obama’s alleged progressiveness, by pointing to gay marriage, possible legalization of marijuana, or contraceptives. Let’s be clear, gay marriage and legalization are inevitable regardless of who is president, as the trend of the larger society is already in that direction and Obama has nothing to do with it. It has been the states and the courts, not the president, taking the lead in case after case. So far as contraception, the issue is so completely silly, it barely merits any discussion.

That said, Mitt Romney would have actually been best for restoring ideological sanity and preserving the liberal agenda.

PRAVDA.RU : American capitalism gone with a whimper
27.04.2009

It must be said, that like the breaking of a great dam, the American decent into Marxism is happening with breath taking speed, against the back drop of a passive, hapless sheeple, excuse me dear reader, I meant people.

True, the situation has been well prepared on and off for the past century, especially the past twenty years. The initial testing grounds was conducted upon our Holy Russia and a bloody test it was. But we Russians would not just roll over and give up our freedoms and our souls, no matter how much money Wall Street poured into the fists of the Marxists.

Those lessons were taken and used to properly prepare the American populace for the surrender of their freedoms and souls, to the whims of their elites and betters.

First, the population was dumbed down through a politicized and substandard education system based on pop culture, rather then the classics. Americans know more about their favorite TV dramas then the drama in DC that directly affects their lives. They care more for their “right” to choke down a McDonalds burger or a BurgerKing burger than for their constitutional rights. Then they turn around and lecture us about our rights and about our “democracy”. Pride blind the foolish.

Then their faith in God was destroyed, until their churches, all tens of thousands of different “branches and denominations” were for the most part little more then Sunday circuses and their televangelists and top protestant mega preachers were more then happy to sell out their souls and flocks to be on the “winning” side of one pseudo Marxist politician or another. Their flocks may complain, but when explained that they would be on the “winning” side, their flocks were ever so quick to reject Christ in hopes for earthly power. Even our Holy Orthodox churches are scandalously liberalized in America.

The final collapse has come with the election of Barack Obama. His speed in the past three months has been truly impressive. His spending and money printing has been a record setting, not just in America’s short history but in the world. If this keeps up for more then another year, and there is no sign that it will not, America at best will resemble the Wiemar Republic and at worst Zimbabwe.

Texans going wild with ‘secession fever,’ bumper stickers everywhere
November 25,2012

Move over, “Everything is bigger in Texas.” The Lone Star state has a new favorite bumper sticker and it’s a simple one-worder: “Secede.” Yes, it appears that “secession fever,” as some columnists are calling it, has taken over the red-leaning state following the post-election petitions — and sales of the stickers are just one sign. Among others, a perennial GOP candidate named Larry Scott Kilgore has announced he’s running for governor and will legally change his name to Larry SECEDE Kilgore — yes, with “secede” in all-caps. His web page also declares, “Secession! All other issues can be dealt with later.” [Source]

MVC extends deadline for motorists affected by Sandy

TRENTON — Motorists affected by Superstorm Sandy will get a break from the state.

The New Jersey Motor Vehicle Commission announced that residents whose driver’s license, registration or vehicle inspection was up for renewal last month have been given a 30-day extension.

“Rather than having these customers make a special trip to FEMA’s centers just for a motor vehicle issue, our entire staff is ready to assist at any one of our 39 agencies statewide,” said Raymond P. Martinez, commission chairman and chief administrator. “We’ve implemented temporary service measures in our agencies to help those with special circumstances caused by Sandy.”

Under the administrative order, anyone who is the holder of a valid New Jersey driver’s license or permit that was due to expire between Oct. 29 and Oct. 31 and was not renewed can continue to exercise his or her driving privileges until Nov. 30. Renewals of vehicle registrations and inspections due that same time period are also extended until Nov. 30.

PRAVDA.RU : Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society
Obama’s Soviet Mistake
19.11.2012
By Xavier Lerma

Putin in 2009 outlined his strategy for economic success. Alas, poor Obama did the opposite but nevertheless was re-elected. Bye, bye Miss American Pie. The Communists have won in America with Obama but failed miserably in Russia with Zyuganov who only received 17% of the vote. Vladimir Putin was re-elected as President keeping the NWO order out of Russia while America continues to repeat the Soviet mistake.

After Obama was elected in his first term as president the then Prime Minister of Russia, Vladimir Putin gave a speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland in January of 2009. Ignored by the West as usual, Putin gave insightful and helpful advice to help the world economy and saying the world should avoid the Soviet mistake.

Recently, Obama has been re-elected for a 2nd term by an illiterate society and he is ready to continue his lies of less taxes while he raises them. He gives speeches of peace and love in the world while he promotes wars as he did in Egypt, Libya and Syria. He plans his next war is with Iran as he fires or demotes his generals who get in the way.

White House Officials insist timing of death not suspicious

Washington — Peace, one of two turkeys pardoned by President Obama last year, was euthanized Monday, according to an official who insisted the timing of the death – days before the Thanksgiving holiday – was not suspicious.

Rebecca Aloisi, vice president for marketing at the Mount Vernon Estate, confirmed that Peace had been dead after a weekend “illness.” But Aloise knew neither the nature of the illness, the manner of death, nor what had been done with the remains of the large, edible bird.

Having own utility helps Park Ridge get power back quickly

THE RECORD

PARK RIDGE — The day after superstorm Sandy, while much of Bergen County was sitting in the dark, Park Ridge had turned most of the lights back on. Four days later, the whole town was electrified.

Park Ridge is one of nine municipalities in New Jersey that run their own non-profit electricity companies. Park Ridge purchases its power wholesale in bulk from a few different suppliers, and has already bought its power through 2016, said William Beattie, the Board of Public Works’ director of operations.

While the town does buy some of its electricity from PSE&G or other area suppliers, once PSE&G’s power is transferred to Park Ridge substations, it is owned by the borough, which manages, meters and distributes the power.

That also means that the borough employs its own line workers, who were out in force after Hurricane Sandy. Beattie also brought back two retired lineman for extra help. Beattie himself was also trained as a lineman, and he helped make some repairs as well.

Eighty percent of Park Ridge had power the day after Sandy hit.

While New Jersey Residents Suffer, Governor Christie Goes on Saturday Night Live

While New Jersey Residents Suffer, Governor Christie Goes on Saturday Night Live
November 18, 2012 By Daniel Greenfield

Tens of thousands of New Jersey residents are without power. Many have lost homes and everything else that they have. Some don’t have enough to eat and others are struggling to stay warm.

This is not the time for a responsible leader to go do his self-promoting shtick on Saturday Night Live. But Christie seems so tone deaf that he puts his self-promotion ahead of anything else.

Yes Giuliani went on Saturday Night Live a few weeks after September 11, but that wasn’t a series of gags, it was a serious tribute to those who died in the attacks. It had very little in common with Christie showing off the same routine that he does every time he’s in the vicinity of a video camera. And at a time when New Jersey residents still need help, why is their Governor spending time on a comedy show cracking jokes about what people have been going through?

NEW YORK (Reuters) – New Jersey Transit’s struggle to recover from Superstorm Sandy is being compounded by a pre-storm decision to park much of its equipment in two rail yards that forecasters predicted would flood, a move that resulted in damage to one-third of its locomotives and a quarter of its passenger cars.

NJ prosecutor: Large amounts of chemicals used to make bombs found at unemployed doctor’s home
By Associated Press, Published: November 17

RIDGEWOOD, N.J. — Prosecutors say large amounts of chemicals commonly used for making bombs and explosive devices have been found at the home of an unemployed northern New Jersey doctor.

Sixty-year-old Roberto Rivera, of Ridgewood, faces several charges, including possession of a destructive device and recklessly creating a risk of widespread injury. His bail was set at $1 million cash. It wasn’t known Saturday if he had retained a lawyer.

Bergen County Prosecutor John Molinelli says investigators also found several assault rifles and other weapons when they searched Rivera’s home Friday night. Ridgewood police had initially responded to the home after receiving a report that potentially hazardous materials might be at the residence.

Prosecutors say Rivera is unemployed but has a license to practice medicine in New York.

Christmas Mystery, Christmas Fantasy

Christmas Mystery, Christmas Fantasy

‘Christmas Mystery, Christmas Fantasy’ explores two sides of our Christmas tradition: the mystical message of the Incarnation as expressed in Scripture; and the legends, symbols, and images that have become part of the Christmas celebration through the centuries. Settings of these texts range from late medieval through to the late 20th Century, and include works by Britten, Josquin, Vaughan Williams, Tchaikovsky and Palestrina.

Joe Antonacci: It’s All About the Fighters, and the Show

Joe Antonacci: It’s All About the Fighters, and the Show
May 4, 2011 at 7:32 am by Michael Rivest

We’ll forgive you if you don’t recognize the name, but if the face on top of the trademark tuxedo doesn’t make you say, “Oh sure, you mean HIM!” then you haven’t paid attention to boxing in a very long time.

It’s been almost ten years since ring announcer Joe Antonacci first stood under the bright lights and, with microphone in hand, silenced crowd chatter with his authoritative voice. And where was that first time, you ask, on ESPN2 Friday Night Fights? You must be kidding. A first time ring announcer on ESPN? Oh no, he did that his second time, and I’m not kidding. Joe wasted no time getting to the top of his profession.

He talks about his beginnings like somebody who loves to tell the story. “I was at a Ring 8 meeting and met promoter Bob Duffy who said he had a show coming up. [Ring 8 supports people in the boxing community who have fallen on hard times.]

“He asked if I had any announcing experience. I said yes, some amateur experience in New Jersey. He probably thought I meant Golden Gloves or something, but I was a ring announcer in a play at an elementary school,” Joe said, laughing.

The next thing he knows, he’s on his way from his home in Ridgewood, New Jersey, to Manhattan’s Park Central Hotel. “I was thinking of everything that could go wrong and praying for an easy first fight,” he said. “I hadn’t been to the weigh-in, so I didn’t even know the fighters’ names and was wanting simple ones to pronounce, like maybe ‘John Jones vs. James Smith.’” But you can guess what happened. “In the first fight was KEMAL KOLENOVIC.”

RHS library learning commons: “Funny how people complain when there’s a huge referendum and ask, “why weren’t these things taken care of over the years?”
Novermeber 9th 2012
by Laurie Goodman

When is it going to stop? Um, when there are no more children? The library hasn’t been touched since 1963. It’s time. It’s currently not serving the needs and of today’s students and teachers. And more than half of the cost is is being funded by donations. Seems reasonable to me. There is a website with more info about the design, including links to research regarding learning commons in general and the educational benefits, at rhslearningcommons.com

Funny how people complain when there’s a huge referendum and ask, “why weren’t these things taken care of over the years?” But when they try to do a single upgrade, 50 years is too soon and we should wait even longer?

And zero-based budgeting? The Board has never said they would do that.

Honestly, this is a needed project that’s been designed extremely conservatively and is being funded more than half by donations and not taxes.
