The East Rutherford Fire Department (ERFD) demonstrated rapid and effective firefighting skills this evening, quickly containing a residential structure fire and ensuring the safety of all occupants.

At approximately 5:00 PM, ERFD was dispatched to a report of a house fire on Rose Street with the initial possibility of residents being trapped inside. Fortunately, upon arrival, crews confirmed the best possible news: all occupants had safely evacuated the building before the department’s arrival.
