Judging by the looks of things, it would appear that the BMW was making a turn from First St. onto Maple Ave. and the minivan was continuing south from Sheridan Ave. onto Maple Ave.
That’s a blind (and dangerous!) turn if there are cars parked on the west side of Maple Ave.
Traveling through there SLOWLY would likely have prevented this…
