CNN Survey names Ridgewood and Colts Neck among top-earning towns in the U.S.

Ridgewood NJ, According to CNN Money New Jersey has two of the 25 top-earning towns in the United States.
Ridgewood came in number 12 on the list, with a median home price of more than $600,000 and a median family income of $200,000, according to CNN.
Ridgewood according to CNN is a community of 25,000 witch also has a public high school that ranks among the top 200 in the country.
Colts Neck,a Monmouth County community of 10,000Â was the second on the list and has family income just below and home price just above Ridgewood, according to CNN Money.
Old timers in the Village cringe at theses types of designations ,preferring to take a more low key approach to life ,while newer residents see to be a bit more flamboyant in their lifestyles.
Despite the these bright spots economic troubles for the state New Jersey do persist , 6 percent of all mortgages are in foreclosure in the Garden State.
New Jersey’s unemployment rate was a staggering 8.7 percent in June, more than a point higher than the national average of 7.6 percent , with virtually no new net private sector jobs created in the two previous administrations and state housing prices in May only grew 2.9 percent year-over-year, significantly less than the national average of 12.2 percent.
