>Community Alert! Please be advised that the Ridgewood Police Department is asking Ridgewood residents to be extra vigilant this week because of an incident that occurred on Thursday afternoon, May 25, at approximately 3:20 PM, on West Ridgewood Avenue between North Hillside and North Murray Avenue. An unshaven, older white male wearing a red shirt and red baseball cap confronted two 13-year-old girls on the sidewalk. The Police are asking parents to discuss this incident with their children and advise them if they witness any similar event to go to any adult immediately and contact the Ridgewood Police Department. Timing is critical.
