Paramus, New Jersey: There are so many new prescriptions- both oral and injectable -that have hit the market this year, yet there are still some reliable ones that we can’t forget about.
Join us for an informative talk to learn about uses and combinations, side effects, interchangeable medications that can save you money and how to make the most of your prescription insurance coverage. Bring your questions- Q&A encouraged.
The meeting (originally scheduled for November 7th) will take place on Wednesday, November
28, 2012 at 7:00 p.m., at the Paramus Life Safety Building, within the Municipal Complex,
Carlough Drive, Paramus, NJ.
The guest speaker will be Kathe Olohan, APN, CDE; Advanced Practice Nurse, Certified
Diabetes Educator, Hackensack University Medical Center. Moderator will be Martin G.
Blechman, MD; Hon. Medical Staff, Retired, Dept. of Internal Medicine; Diabetes Section,
Hackensack University Medical Center.
This program is part of the Diabetes Foundation Inc.’s bi-monthly Living with Diabetes Program,
providing free lectures on various topics related to diabetes management and prevention,
which are presented by respected members of the medical community. This program is also supported by the Paramus Board of Health.
Since 1990, the Diabetes Foundation, Inc. has been helping to improve the care and quality of life for people living with diabetes. The Foundation serves a population that lives day-to-day with this serious chronic disorder. Proceeds from donations benefit programs which include: camp sponsorships for diabetic children, public and professional education, and assistance with medications and supplies to those in serious need of financial assistance.
