Paramus NJ, missing dog from Chicago spotted in Paramus:
[DAY 151 MISSING] Zorro has been missing since 3/18 after a sitter hired via Rover.com brought him from Lakeview, Chicago to WAUKEGAN, IL where she then “lost” him. She lied to me for 5 days until I arrived home, finally discovering the truth.
We have a potential sighting all the way in Paramus, NJ, following a tip from a fellow dog owner. The lady told us she had befriended a couple who were at the Van Saun Park with a dog that looked just like Zorro. The couple was calling their dog Bentley, however the dog was pretty unresponsive to his name. The couple explained how they recently purchased the dog off a man from Craigslist for $100 (originally listed as $400 but they bargained the price as the man was desperate to get rid of the dog). The interesting part of the story is that the man said he had originally adopted the dog from a shelter in Chicago, but could now no longer take care of the dog.
We do not know if this is 100% Zorro, so we’re still exploring any and all avenues / tips received. The amount of tips we’ve gotten from ALL AROUND THE WORLD is amazing. Please keep them up. We will eventually find him because of a tip from strangers like you helping me.
