Ridgewood NJ, Despite allegations being made publicly by both Rurik Halaby and Siobhan Winograd, the delays associated with Bagelicious’ reopening are NOT being caused by the Village’s failure to act promptly on requests being made of them by the owner/operator of Bagelicious, or his general construction contractor. Mr. Rosales is reportedly frustrated that these two individuals are attempting to politicize the reopening of Bagelicious without his consent.
The delayed opening is unrelated to the Village’s permitting and inspection process. Mr. Halaby made his accusations via public comments at a meeting of the Village Council and Ms. Winograd spoke out during the recent dedication/planting of a tree in front of Bagelicious.
One reader made a constructive suggestion , “OMG. Those two need a hobby. How exhausting it must be to complain publicly about every little thing in town they disagree with. Try reading the book “ Don’t sweat the small stuff”
“Good luck to Bagelicious ownership”

So glad to see ol’ Rurik has moved on from complaining about train whistles at his station side apartment.
So why isn’t it open yet?
Their opinions are of zero interest.
Why was Wino Chardonnay planting a tree anyway?
Who invited her.
