Ridgewoood NJ , After the recent cell tower application was withdrawn a new plan to “transform” the building on the corner of 599 North Maple into a medical/ professional building (“upgrade & modernize”) using the back lot as the parking lot.
News came from EAST END REALTY, in a letter signed by FPR Properties, Jay Joseph Friedrich , who also filed with the Zoning Board ).
Friedrich and Friedrich Attorneys have advised the neighbors in writing that they want to put a parking lot where they were trying to put the cell tower.
A public hearing is being held on May 28th at 7:30pm. FPR Properties stated they are going to put fencing and shrubberies that shall block the parking area .
Neighbors have expressed some concern over traffic patterns and emergency service access to Barrett Place
some of you people on barnett place are a pane in the ass. it’s all ways some thing with you. and it’s all ways the same people crying over and over. what do you need to do make it a dead end.
the whole area could use some love
, the neighbors have a right to be weary , but let face it North Maple looks like ghetto ,if all it takes is to make Bennett one way , lets do it
East End Reality is filled with a bunch of MONEY HUNGRY CROOKS!!!!!!!!! I guess the neighbors on Barnett should be lucky they are not trying to put a strip joint or bar on the corner. I can only imagine my buddy from Ford is going to sit by the parking lot with a change purse collecting $10 per car for parking. So sorry the cell tower didnt work out for you must of hurt your pocket book just a bit. We see how you let Boyds take care of their area – it looks like a dump. If you want to put a building and a parking lot by our neighborhood make sure it looks good. Large evergreens – high fencing and no intrusive lighting. Get ready – see you at the hearing. Oh and by the way its law that you send notifications certified mail to each resident within 200 ft – NOT REGULAR MAIL!!!!! But I will make sure EVERYONE knows there is a hearing and we will take a look at your beautiful plans. I think you should be friendly with your neighbors – not PISS THEM OFF!!!!!!!!!!
As usual the same caveat applies: Location, location, location.
BE CAREFUL where you buy!
Move next to a car dealership, train station, school, highway or hospital.
Its not going to be like living up in the heights (unless you get stuck with a water tower)
That same angry person comments on many posts that people who bought on certain streets should expect to be treated unfairly.
I sense a person with few friends and adequacy issues. Angry because everyone else has something worth fighting for.
Haters gotta hate
Stupid people make stupid decisions. They buy cheap real estate then bitch because they made a bad decision.
Same stupid people such as #5 should look in the mirror if they want to blame someone.
The rest of the world does not care about your self imposed problems, nor will we pay to fix it. You made a stupid decision. Live with it or sell to another fool.
what ever they build at that land, will be nice’er then a car lot.
They can build whatever they want if it meets the zoning requirements. The input of the neighbors will have zero influence on the decision unless it requires a variance. If it increases ratables, let them build whatever they want.
Just an FYI when houses were purchased in this area we were told only a house could be built on that property since it is zoned residential. Sorry not everyone has tons of money like some of the lovely posts. If I knew I had a creep who owned that property I sure would of purchased my home somewhere else. Nice to have other Ridgewood residents supportative of their neighbors. Any to you #9 the lot is zoned residential so they CANNOT build whatever they want. If they could they would of put a cell tower their a LONG TIME AGO!!!!!!!!!
To #10!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OK? (take a deep breath)
Cell towers require certain permits. If its zoned residential, then the developer could build affordable housing, or a perhaps a ‘group’ home there. If so, then both of these ‘options’ would supercede any zoning law with respect to ‘density’. It would allow the property owner to maximize their investment, and teach rude neighbors a lesson.
Be careful what you wish for.
I know this is the owner of the property because you wanted to put a Group Home there but couldnt get it thru the Village for approval. Why cant you do something nice with the property – why cant you do something to enhance the neighborhood? Oh yah – like you said previously “YOU DONT CARE ABOUT THE PEOPLE WHO LIVE THERE YOU JUST WANT TO MAKE MONEY”!!!!!! Maximize your investment thats what its about for you. Please try and teach me a lesson – well see who wins this one buddy!! We have Valley Hospital on our side this time and they dont want your trashy set up there either. Good luck – see you soon.
I LIKE YOUR IDEA OF A BAR OR STRIP CLUB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that you mentioned in your earlier posts.
(got any decent looking female family members looking to make a few extra bucks?)
And I am not the owner of the property. Just a concerned long time resident.
A concerned long time resident – you must be kidding me. Go put your crappy buildings /parking lots and cell towers somewhere else dirty old man.
If you have a cute wife or daughter, it would be a terrific opportunity to make a few dollars dancing. No commute. Just ‘walk to work’. If she is pretty, and knows how to dance, make sure she applies for a job. In fact if she’s a bit ‘portly’ an exception will be made since she’s a neighbor. Hows that for an ‘olive branch’ overture.
looks like the troll Bombase dont have enough to do with Valley , what a loser , high school drop outs who fail the chiefs test should shut up and leave people alone
This debate is getting increasingly offensive. Take it down.
