Englewood NJ, on Sunday night May 7th , the Englewood Police Departments received a report of two persons shot by a pellet gun while crossing East Palisade Avenue . In an event eerily similar to a pellet gun attack in Ridgewood ,the Englewood Police department commenced with a thorough investigation and by 11 am the next morning the Englewood Police had taken a suspect into custody . The suspect was charged with two counts aggravated assault, as well as possession of a firearm for an unlawful purpose.
Englewood Police remind residents that the department will fully investigate all reports of crime and vigorously pursue any incidents that appear biased in nature.
