Glen Rock NJ, Bergen County motorists should prepare for traffic delays in Fair Lawn and Glen Rock as the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) advances a major $10.4 million bridge replacement project.

Daytime lane closures will impact both Route 208 and CR 507/Maple Avenue to accommodate overhead utility work by PSE&G and bridge construction activities.

Lane Closure Schedule & Travel Impact

  • Route 208 (Both Directions): Right lanes will be closed from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9, Thursday, September 10, and Friday, September 11. PSE&G crews will be removing overhead wires during these hours. At least one lane will remain open in each direction.

  • CR 507/Maple Avenue Bridge: Single lane closures with alternating traffic will take place from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Wednesday, September 9 through Friday, September 11.

Drivers are advised to slow down, allow extra travel time, and exercise caution when navigating through the active work zone.
