FAIR LAWN, NJ — September 3, 2025 — A powerful crash at the intersection of Berkshire Road and Plaza Road in Fair Lawn sent two people to the hospital on Wednesday morning.
According to the Fair Lawn Police Department, the force of the collision was so strong that both vehicles were knocked off the roadway. The crash involved a Toyota Corolla sedan and a Honda Pilot SUV, both of which sustained heavy damage and had to be removed from the scene by tow trucks.
Victims Transported to St. Joseph’s
Emergency responders, including Fair Lawn EMS and a St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center paramedic team, quickly arrived to treat the victims. Two individuals were transported to St. Joseph’s Regional Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
Police Investigation and Traffic Delays
The Fair Lawn Police Department managed traffic control at the busy intersection while conducting a full investigation into the cause of the crash. Motorists experienced temporary delays as crews cleared the scene.
