Federal Highway Administrator in New Jersey division arrested on fraud charges

The feds this morning arrested the Assistant Division Administrator of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), New Jersey Division, for allegedly using a straw company to get FHWA grant funds he also oversaw as a public official, and for falsifying related federal disclosure documents, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman said. (Politicker Staff)

  1. And there are people that want to raise the federal gasoline tax to keep the Highway Trust fund solvent ? It’s a black holes of corruption and fraud. Just like the Port Authority. Great to the fat cat unions. Crushing middle income commuters.

  2. What? Corruption in the State of New Jersey? I’m shocked, I tell you. Shocked.

  3. This person had been under investigation a long time. Not about the State of NJ. About a bad apple finally being brought to justice. We should be happy our tax dollars that goto the Office of Investigator General are actually being used correctly!!
