Ridgewood NJ, The final leaf placement dates throughout the Village are today through December 26, 2019. No leaves may be placed in the streets after December 26, 2019.
No brush will be collected during leaf season. In addition, do not place trash, stones, branches, twigs or other yardwaste into the leaf piles.
You may place your leaves in biodegradable paper bags, between the curb and sidewalk (not in the street), at any time through December 26, 2019, and they will be picked up by our collection crews, as time permits. Do not use plastic bags for leaf collection. You may also bring your leaves to the Recycling Center during their regular hours.
If you have any questions regarding the leaf collection program, call the Street Division at 201-670-5585
This is a nice surprise…I thought we were done…!
Oh come on now. With all the rain, ice and snow we had we need more time .
What is this a scare tactic. We just made a phone called to the department that picks up the leaves. We were told they are making a final rounds throughout the whole town it would be impossible to put all the leaves inside of a paper bag. And besides that they are falling apart from the weather stop the bullshit.
The Crews should of worked on weekends like in other Next door towns.
Why not mayor.
???????? Yeah we thought so.
I have to admit.
this year (unlike the last decade) the guys did a great job picking up the leaves.
They won’t want to redo any streets again, so sounds like no pickups until after the 26th. When will they be done? February?
I don’t care if they get done in February. None of us can control mother nature. When it gets done it gets done its leaves it’s not an emergency. It’s not ice.
