Firefighters Rescue Unconscious Victim from Glen Rock House Fire

Glen Rock NJ, late Sunday evening, January 5, firefighters in Glen Rock demonstrated heroic efforts, rescuing an unconscious individual from a burning single-family home on Birchwood Road. The victim, unresponsive upon being carried out of the smoke-filled residence, was given CPR at the scene before being rushed to The Valley Hospital by ambulance.

Firefighters and First Responders Join Forces

The Glen Rock Volunteer Fire Department, with support from neighboring municipalities, worked tirelessly to extinguish the blaze. Early reports suggest the fire may have originated in the home’s driveway before spreading into the structure.

In addition to Glen Rock firefighters, the Glen Rock Police Department and Glen Rock EMS provided critical support during the emergency response.
