The suit claims that Makayla Spruill was groped on several occasions by food and drink manager, Hannibal Campa. It also claims Campa made comments about her body and compared it to other female employees and also made racial comments.
According to Spruill ,Alpine Country Club failed to respond to her human resources complaint in July 2022, which led to continuous sexual harassment of multiple other women and herself and that the club was aware of Campa’s actions but refused to take action or investigate the claims despite proof from coworkers.

Based on the investigative interviews, Hannibal Campa admitted to making the discriminatory comments claimed by Makayla Spruill.
This is why good white professionals become the white elephant in the room when you hold employees accountable for their actions.
