Fort Lee NJ, a woman from Fort Lee, New Jersey, has filed a lawsuit against Lyft and one of its drivers, identified only as Luis, alleging sexual assault. The lawsuit, filed in New York Supreme Court last month, seeks justice for the plaintiff, referred to as Jane Doe to protect her identity.
According to the lawsuit, on March 7 earlier this year, the woman hailed a Lyft ride from her home to her workplace in New York City, expecting a routine commute. However, the journey took a harrowing turn when, as alleged in the lawsuit, the driver urinated in a plastic container on a public road in Manhattan’s west side while she was in the vehicle.
The lawsuit, spearheaded by attorney Thomas P. Giuffra from the New York-based firm Rheingold Giuffra Ruffo Plotkin & Hellman, accuses both Lyft and the driver of conduct deemed “outrageous, shocking, despicable, and contemptible” beyond the bounds of decency accepted by the community. The plaintiff is seeking compensatory and punitive damages and has requested a trial by jury.

Had he simply urinated on himself sitting in the driver’s seat while she was in the car, it would have been unpleasant for her, but probably without the benefit of giving her a chance to sue a big company for lots of money.
FWIW, the way it actually happened was more sanitary–no miss, no fuss. But this out-of-control über-Karen wants her pound of flesh.
It is hard for men to understand that in a civilized society he should not do that. Low class.
