Ridgewood NJ, the retail chain Gap has shuttered two locations in New Jersey as part of a larger store-closing purge. 700 Paramus Park in Paramus and 235 East Ridgewood Ave. in Ridgewood are now closed . The chain still operates 28 Gap stores in New Jersey.
In February the 2019 the chain announced plans to split its brands between two and to close about 230 of its namesake stores, or about 50 percent of Gap locations, over the next two years as part of its restructuring
In a statement, Gap said 89 stores have closed worldwide since the start of 2020, and it plans to close about 140 more by February 2021. During this round of closures, stores in the United States, Canada, Japan, France and United Kingdom were affected.
Ohhhh! Shoot so it’s NOT just the fact that we don’t have a parking garage in ridgewood that did the GAP in?!!!! Holy cow
