Hasbrouck Heights NJ, at 10 am today, the Hasbrouck Heights Fire department was dispatched to the Garden Apartments on Terrace Avenue for a possible fire. 60 arrived and had smoke showing. Crews from Engine 2 stretched a line to the second floor and knocked the fire. Ladder 1 and surrounding mutual aid assisted with ventilation, portable ground ladders, and overhaul. Two members were treated with minor injuries.
Mutual aid was provide by Wallington, Carlstadt, Little Ferry, Hackensack and Wood-Ridge, along with EMS from Holy Name Medical Center.
Wood-Ridge Fire Department responded at 09:58 to 20 Terrace Ave in the Borough of Hasbrouck Heights for an Apartment Fire. Chief Cribben, Chief Berta, Truck 904, & Rescue 903 responded and assisted in extinguishing the fire. All units were back in town at 12:30.
