Ridgewood NJ, the Village of Ridgewood is officially transforming into a holiday wonderland! With the massive Christmas tree now securely in place and the downtown decked out in festive greenery, the stage is set for the annual “Downtown for the Holidays” event and the highly anticipated Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Don’t Miss the Lights! Tree Lighting Set for December 5th

The crowning moment of the season will take place next week! After a tremendous effort by Downes Tree Service to cut, transport, and install the donated Christmas tree at Garber Square this past Wednesday, the Village is ready to switch on the lights.

Mark your calendars for the official lighting ceremony:

• Date: Friday, December 5th

• Tree Lighting Time: 6:45 PM

• Festivities Start: 5:00 PM

The evening kicks off early with a special Kids Hour featuring music, seasonal arts and crafts, hot cocoa, and plenty more activities designed for our youngest residents.

Downtown Blooms: Thanks to the Ridgewood Beautification Team

If you’ve noticed the stunning seasonal atmosphere in the Central Business District, you have the Ridgewood Beautification Team to thank!

The dedicated team spent last Saturday morning transforming the downtown area with beautiful winter-themed planters and seasonal greenery. Their volunteer efforts are key to making the Village a welcoming and vibrant place to shop and celebrate throughout the holidays.
