Glenn Rock NJ, according to the Glen Rock Police early Friday morning around 01:40 am (9/13/19), patrol responded to Abbington Terrace on an attempted burglary to a residence’s rear door. While patrol was canvassing the area, they came across a vehicle which turned out to be stolen from Gramercy Pl around the same time as the burglary attempt. The vehicle fled and was lost in Paterson. A mountain bike was found near where the vehicle was stolen and several vehicles and garages showed signs that they were rummaged through.
The GRPD is asking residents to check any video doorbells, exterior cameras or other surveillance sources for any evidence related to these events. Anyone who has video or witnessed anything is asked to contact the GRPD Detectives at 201-670-3947 or 201-670-3948.
The activity centered around the Abbington, Hamilton, Gramercy areas. We anticipate additional victims will come forward during daylight hours. Any additional victims are urged to report this to us at 201-652-3800.
