Glen Rock NJ, according to the Glen Rock Police Department over the past week, they have seen an uptick in vandalism in town. Offensive graffiti has been found on the Wilde Park bathrooms, the utility boxes between the basketball courts and hockey rink, and the rear of the Glen Rock Volunteer Ambulance Corps building. A water fountain was also completely damaged and knocked over in Wilde Park.
At this time, we do not know if the actor(s) were from town or out of town. Glen Rock Police understand that sheltering at home is difficult and it can be frustrating that the parks and public spaces are not accessible.

“We are all in this together. Please help us by continuing to shelter at home.”

Anyone who has information related to this vandalism is asked to contacted D/Sgt. James Calaski – 201-670-3948 (jcalaski@glenrockpolice.com) or Det. Lucas Doney 201-670-3947 (ldoney@glenrockpolice.com).
Thank you.

  1. Better ramp up the OT ! What about the downtick in vehicle related accidents & fatalities, homicides, robberies, etc?

  2. Kids are getting bored

  3. idle hands….

  4. Seriously? Idle hands? The kids are bored? This is why we have entitled idiots running around this town! I certainly don’t want my taxes spent on cleaning this up. I’d say set up some cameras at public places.

What, should we let kids deal smash windows or vandalize personal property because ‘poor babies’ were bored?

When caught these folks should be made to clean up their messes!
