Glen Rock NJ, the Glen Rock Police report that at 4:59 PM on January 8th patrols were dispatched to a dispute over payment at the Exxon Station located at Maple Avenue and Highwood Avenue. Upon arrival it was found that the station owner had allegedly extended credit to a 33-year-old Ridgewood man, two months in the past, as he did not have funds to pay for gas at that time. The man insisted that he had paid an unknown attendant at the gas station in the past and no longer owed the money. Neither party had any documentation to support their claims and were advised that this was a civil matter, not a police matter. The Ridgewood man was escorted from the property and was given notice against trespassing by the station owner.
