Ridgewood NJ,long considered  forgone conclusion , Cory Booker this morning formally opted out of the 2020 presidential race. The Junior Senators campaign succumb to anemic poll numbers and a total lack on interest even in his home state of New Jersey. A campaign so bad he didn’t even rate the lead article on the Ridgewood blog today. Senator Booker ‘s critics point to his middling hyperbole and abject lack of substance often referring to him as Senator Cory Booker (twitter).

NJGOP Chairman Doug Steinhardt released to following statement on Senator Booker dropping out of the Presidential race:
“Absentee Senator Cory Booker has left his state dead last in what we get back from Washington. If he expects to waltz back into New Jersey into open arms he is absolutely wrong. His agenda of socialized healthcare and out of control taxes will only fuel this state’s affordability crisis. If we want our children to be able to start their lives here and our parents to retire he we need to get rid of politicians like Cory Booker and Phil Murphy.”

  1. Turgid and torpid.

  2. With such an amazing list of accomplishments, I simply don’t understand how he failed to connect with the American public.

  3. Love this picture with Paul sniffing along behind him

  4. He had to because of dirty old secret would of came out.
Besides he doesn’t need the stress.

  5. “Dirty old secret?” How homophobic of you.

  6. Another incompetent democrat failure!

  7. Buh Bye

  8. He was trying to run as Obama part two, for sort of obvious reasons. Yeas, there’s the race thing, but he and Obama possess very similar track records. Track records that amount to zilch.

  9. In the end this has nothing to do with anyone or anything but himself. Come clean and people will except you. Who knows he could’ve been a great president I don’t know.

  10. Listen he could’ve been a great guy that’s all well and good. But the best was, when he was mayor of Newark he wasn’t even living in Newark. Oh right, got you. You’re a bit of a big mouth. Hey maybe one day he will run for mayor and Ridgewood.

  11. Well I guess this means that our former mayor doesn’t have a job in Washington to look forward to.

  12. Spartacus, we hardly knew ye !
