Glen Rock police respond to another athletic event related disturbance

Glen Rock NJ, Glen Rock Police Department officers responded to a reported verbal disturbance involving a large crowd at the Faber Field Athletic Complex on Doremus Ave. late Saturday evening, June 8th. The incident is said to have involved players, spectators, and coaches.

Ridgewood Police Department officers assisted their Glen Rock colleagues in controlling the large unruly crowd. No arrests nor injuries were reported. The group was reportedly dispersed within 15 to 20 minutes of the first police officers arriving on scene.

  1. I remember when attending GW in the early 1970s… the only time we had ‘problems’ occurred when Hackensack came to play basketball games against us.
