Washington DC,, In a bid to maximize visibility and engage voters directly ahead of the upcoming U.S. Senate election, Republican nominee Justin Murphy has announced an aggressive statewide campaign strategy. Murphy is gearing up for a high-impact showdown against long-time incumbent U.S. Senator Cory Booker (D-NJ) aka Spartacus.

To kickstart his momentum, Murphy revealed plans to host individual town hall meetings across every single one of New Jersey’s 21 counties.

The ambitious, high-visibility tour is scheduled to officially launch next month on July 9th in Mercer County.

Energizing the New Jersey Republican Base

A conservative military veteran and former local elected official, Murphy aims to build grassroots enthusiasm across the Garden State. The candidate expressed strong optimism about the evolving political climate, highlighting the active momentum generated by newly appointed GOP county party chairs.

“I see them fighting pretty hard to make change in the culture,” Murphy stated, reflecting on his mission to unify and energize the state’s Republican base. This campaign follows his previous run for the GOP U.S. Senate nomination in 2024.

A Deep History of Public and Military Service

Murphy’s platform leans heavily on his extensive background in both public service and grassroots political organizing:

  • Military Veteran: Enlisting in the United States Navy at just 17 years old, Murphy served a four-year term aboard the USS Comte De Grasse (DD 974). His service included a six-month deployment to the Arabian/Persian Gulf during the Iran-Iraq War before receiving an honorable discharge.

  • Local Governance: Murphy transitioned to local politics in November 2000, serving a three-year term on the Tabernacle Township Committee.

  • GOP Grassroots Roots: He has been active in New Jersey Republican circles since 1988, holding key legacy positions including Vice President of the Burlington County Young Republicans (1994–1997), Burlington County Co-Chair for the Dole-Kemp presidential ticket in 1996, and President of the Tabernacle Republican Organization.

  • Tax Reform Advocacy: Between 2002 and 2005, he volunteered heavily for Bret Schundler’s high-profile Property Tax Reform Effort and subsequent gubernatorial bid.

With the launch of the Mercer County town hall on July 9th, Murphy hopes his 21-county blitz will allow him to address hyper-local issues directly with voters, positioning his conservative military background as a direct alternative to the incumbent Senator Booker.
